El Dorado Chevrolet Cookoff in McKinney is in the books!
It felt good to be back with our normal BBQ peeps this weekend. We rolled in later than I would’ve liked but you’ll have that on big jobs sometimes.
I had a smooth cook on Saturday and was satisfied with everything until I sliced brisket. Not sure what the hell happened there but I knew I wouldn’t be walking with it.
Chicken 🐓 flew the coop 🤬
7th Ribs 🐷
No show Jones on the beef 🐮
I had a “rollin” good time anyways 🤣
The best part of the day was seeing Brian Coulter get his first GC! I know there’s a lot more in your future now that you got that monkey off your back! So happy for yall and glad I got to be there to witness it! Big congrats to Rick with We Dem Boyz on RGC! Congrats to everyone on their walks!
Thank you Laura, Judy and Walker for keeping things going behind the scenes!
Barbecue is a family and getting to be with your buddies and their families from all around the state or even other states is the best part. I’m thankful and blessed to do this life with my family and friends! 🖤
Ore City is up next and I can’t wait for this one! 🔥
