To the SeekEats 626 Community:
Thank you for everything! We started this page over 2 years ago with the goal in mind of supporting local businesses and getting people to try new restaurants. Over that time, we partnered with nearly 70 stores in the 626 and handed out thousands of discounts, meals, and boba to all of you guys! We've built friendships, created stories and events, and kept the community engaged with local restaurant deals and developments. We even built a mobile app out of it- something we'd never planned on doing!
For us on the SeekEats Team, who are all college/highschool students who grew up in the 626, it's been the most meaningful and fulfilling endeavor to support the 626 food ecosystem we all know and love. I know that we have been MIA for a few months, as we have been considering our next steps and vision for this project and we've had a lot to think about.
We are extremely grateful and happy with what we've built, and as life moves on, have come to the conclusion that it is time for us to close this community chapter that is the SeekEats project! We cherish the journey that it's been and all of you that have been a part of this, including all of our wonderful partnered businesses! Thank you!!!
Looking forward, our goal of supporting local businesses in the 626 is not finished, and we are excited to continue this mission through our new project .626 . We plan on hosting creative and exclusive pop up events with restaurant partners in the community, and creating unique experiences and ways for you all to continue to support!
