$115 15 course omakase is unheard of in LA! 🤭

🍣 Zama Omakase I love getting omakase, but especially in NYC bc they have very competitive pricing and Zama is inclusive of that! they have a full variety omakase with cooked and raw items, oysters, handrolls, and a5 wagyu with truffle - delicious! especially their dessert featuring jelly, sorbet, mochi, all made in house. it just kept on giving

😍 I have to say the chef, Ben, really made our experience. he is such a gem and I loved learning about all his background before opening his beautiful restaurant in NYC. def a must add sushi restaurant to your NYC list!

Jamba has sandwiches now?! 🤩

🥪 Jamba is serving sandwiches for a limited time at select locations! I tried the Rotisserie Chicken Pesto, the J.B.S.T. (their take on a BLT), and the Blueberry Dipper Cheese Melt

🥤 the Rotisserie Chicken Pesto was definitely my favorite, but I was honestly surprised by the blueberry mango dipping sauce with the grilled cheese. I paired the sandwiches with my fave White Gummy smoothie! 😌 if your local Jamba has these sandwiches, they’re definitely worth checking out!

the massive grilled fish I just had to order 🤭

🐟 SANTO FISH RESTAURANT Santo Fish in Pico Rivera serves up authentic mariscos, but the second I saw this MASSIVE pescado zarandeado come out to another table, I knew exactly what I was ordering 😂 perfectly grilled, so tender, flavorful, and served with tortillas so you can make your own tacos!

😍 we also got the oysters topped with fresh shrimp ceviche, the tuna sashimi with their signature black sauce, and the pulki tacos with octopus, melted cheese, and a blue corn tortilla. everything was so fresh, and I definitely filled up on way too many of their complimentary chips and salsa before our food even came out

celebrating the little moments with TOUS les JOURS ✨

🍰 always room to enjoy a treat, and I love getting mine from TOUS les JOURS! the cutest little Korean French bakery with all goods baked fresh everyday. from the strawberry croissant and spinach feta danish to the massive croissant flattie, chewy honey cheese mochi pancakes, and their signature Cloud Cake, everything is so good. and don’t skip the drinks either. the matcha latte and tiramisu latte were the perfect pairing

😌 sometimes all it takes is a really good pastry to make an ordinary day feel a little sweeter 🥐🍰

Bonchon Chicken’s new Korean Crunch menu available until July 14th!

🐓 Bonchon is known for their Korean fried chicken, but they just launched a new Korean Crunch limited-time menu and I had to give it a try

😍 This menu includes the K-Chicken Sandwich, Pork Cheese Katsu Sandwich, Pork Cheese Katsu Bowl, and Korean Cucumber Salad. The Pork Cheese Katsu Bowl was probably my favorite with that gooey cheese pull, but honestly everything had the perfect crunch and flavor

👀 If you’ve been meaning to try Bonchon, now’s the time since these menu items are only available for a limited time.

Korean Italian fusion in OC served on robots ✨

🍝 dPlace dPlace in Fullerton is bringing together two cuisines and it just works. they’re known for their galbi, so we had to try the American Style Galbi alongside some of their pasta and other sides

😍 the American Style Galbi was definitely the star for me - perfectly grilled, juicy, so tender, and packed with that sweet-savory marinade that makes galbi so addictive. their Shrimp Rosé Pasta was also flavorful, def wanna try all their pastas!

😋 they have plenty of sides as well as drinks and happy hour so def makes for a nice night out!

🍱 Baro Gimbap in Fullerton is the definition of a family run hidden gem. the owner makes all of the banchan and kimbap fresh every morning, and you can taste the care in every dish. love the mini market feel while still being able to dine inside too!

😍 their Party Box is an essential for any function since it comes with over 100 pieces of assorted kimbap for just $70 (gobo, fish cake, tuna, anchovy, beef, egg, mini sausage) perfect for office lunches, parties, or feeding a hungry family. I also had to try their rosé tteokbokki, bulgogi soup, sashimi salad, cold noodles, and fried snacks

😋 everything felt comforting and homemade. the tteokbokki had perfect chewy texture and I loved the cheesiness, while the bulgogi soup was super cozy and packed with flavor. plus the kimbap was so filling and delish! you can tell this is one of those places where recipes have been passed down and made the same way every day
