As our 99th year in business comes to a close, we wanted to pause and reflect with gratitude on the people who have made our company and our products possible.

This year especially, we remember Jorge De La Torre, a true Maestro legend and one of Los Angeles’s greatest sausage makers, who passed away earlier this year. Jorge spent 44 years with us, serving as our production supervisor for over four decades.

He helped shaped our company, our craft, and our character, and he taught us how to work hard, take pride in what we do, and enjoy the process along the way.

As we enter our 100th year, we carry Jorge’s lessons forward. Rest in peace, Jorge. You are what it means to be a Maestro.
