One year after devastating wildfires swept through parts of Los Angeles, the strength and resilience of this community continue to inspire us.

Today, we’re reaffirming our commitment to long-term recovery by committing $500,000 to support nonprofits and small businesses rebuilding in communities impacted by natural disasters—starting in LA and extending to other regions.

These stories—from the , , and Altadena small business owner Brisa Lopez of —capture the resilience and sense of community that continue to move Los Angeles forward.

A quick update on myself and our business.

Remember to always listen to your heart, mind and body. To me it was a close call and besides I will never give up, this time my inner self had to scream for help and I had to listen.

01/07/2026

The morning after the fire we rushed to our home and the drive there it’s something that will always stay with me. The uncertainty, the fear, the anguish. And the drive there… oh the drive there. Everything around us was engulfed in huge flames. We couldn’t see anything. And I haven’t had that much fear since I was an abused kid.

The worst was our silver lining. The house itself was -somehow-, there still but everything inside was ruined. Everything outside was gone and that’s where we are still after 12 torturous months.

Yesterday, while I was getting ready for work, I finally broke down and I cried and screamed all my pain and suffering that I had kept inside for all this time.

I am grateful for my family, grateful for the support and my community. All that is what keeps me going, but is not easy people. I am exhausted, drained and sad.

But the fact that we are here still it gives me hope and motivates me to keep going. Because that’s what we survivors do.

Gracias por todo familia! We -somehow-, survived 2025. Let’s hope that 2026 treat us better.

Felices Fiestas from our 9th AirBnB 🪅

It is too much to tell and feel in this picture and I’m sure I’m not alone here. Almost a year after our lives changed forever, we persist on not giving up. With the little bit we have and can afford, we are doing our best to give our family and very brave daughter, that spark of happiness that this time of the year represents.

Gracias por tu amor y apoyo . Besides we can’t be with you yet, you are our home still.
