I learned such a valuable & inspiring thing from my free diving instructor this evening.
Thanks to tonight 1 June 2020.
With free diving and with most other things in life it takes a lot of planning and there are a lot of unexpected obstacles along the way like having to dive deeper to chase a fish into a whole or cut out some kelp, or reload your gun expending more energy. You have to be able to shift after planning meticulously for your dives and stop obsessing About one thing like for me it was Spearfishing and to just do something else that’s cool.
Branch out and go follow another passion for me I have a few.
With the help of my local diving mentor , I learned that when the visibility is down, and the tides are up and the water isn’t desirable not saying it’s sh*tty because it never is here, it-is lovely. I love Laguna Beach , The people, the lifeguards the board director of the lifeguards in orange county.
You just have to pivot. So much like in these times. When the tides are up and the visibility is down you have to look at other things that you love like for me it’s tattooing. I’ve been hesitant for a long time because of distance and money and now with this quarantine it makes me realize how precious those things were. The intimacy of sitting in your bad ass tattoo or chair or kick ass hairstylist
Not to be sad but to put a plan into action and do something. So,I saw some artwork today in the form of tattooing by and let me tell you it moved me. So much in fact that I’m going to ride my motorcycle up there to see him and get a tattoo. Who’s with me?
do you approve?
It’s on the other arm opposite of your work and I’m not going to Boston anytime soon. I’m moving to Western Australia in March 2021.
