Easy Bhunna Lamb Keema

Whole Spices
½ teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 black cardamom, ½ teaspoon whole black pepper, 3-4 whole cloves
Aloo Keema
1/3 cup oil
1 lb ground lamb or beef butcher grind is the best
1 tablespoon ginger and garlic paste
1 green chili crushed
1 teaspoon kashmiri red chili
½ teaspoon red chili
1 ½ teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1 ¼ tsp salt or to taste
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tbsp whole milk yogurt
1 tomato, chopped
1/3 cup fried onions

Finishing:
1 tsp kasuri methi
1/2 tsp garam masala
Chopped cilantro and julienned ginger

Method: In your pan add and mix all the ingredients really well almost like you’re making kebab.
Place the pan on your stove on medium heat and let it simmer for 25 mins covered with a lid.
Increase the heat to high and sauté (bhunna) the keema till the oil separates about 7-10 mins . Finish off with a sprinkle of kasuri methi, garam masala, chopped cilantro. Serve immediately with naan or paratha.
