When my MIL insisted we have to take 4yo Cassian to Kenya for a safari, I convinced her we should try out San Diego’s safari overnight 🐘the heat of that was enough for her 😅 while dad and mom loved sipping on every Mkutano dish and cocktail surrounded by elephants👌and the kids woke up to lions 🦁

Never really camped with my family outside the backyard, so here was our end of summer plan with .farm.santabarbara 🙏 always love encouraging my kids to absorb as much nature, animals, and seek adventure (incl strong winds that basically destroyed our tent and woke us up throughout the night and a ton of wasps that Oly thought I didn’t recognize 😂)

Never thought I’d ever get a tattoo in my life, but the night Bagel passed away, I wept that I needed to get a Bagel tattoo to have him always with me.

8 months later…it’s here. I love you so much Bagel Yang and am so proud to have you with me. 🫶🥯

Happy first birthday Finnegan, Finney, Finley. ☀️I am so grateful for your sweet presence and am constantly awed by your curiosity and growth. You love walking, crawling quickly, climbing onto things to knock books off tables and clapping 🥹I feared I’d struggle to bond with my second son or that I’d dread parenting two boys, but we all love you SO MUCH and you balance out Cassian’s craziness.
