A walk through the rose garden … found a new flower that popped up on the property too- the dark burgundy lilly💚 and then found tiger lilies and agapanthas!

You know what happens when you let your grass go to seed … you don’t have to buy grass seed 😂 time to harvest the back yard and replant where I want it to grow. I’m not anti grass but I’m not following the rules of lawn care from other people. A nice patch of grass is lovely for lying in I just don’t need it to cover the entire 1/3 of an acre. We’ve been here 6 months and it’s time to harvest grass seed, remove, dig and start my new permaculture.

We’ve moved to a new location and a new grow zone … brought our chickens with and there was a “no plant left behind” goal that we achieved! Sadly some of those plants don’t like this grow zone so they are recovering inside where it’s cooler. In some places we are starting from scratch- I’d like to build an outdoor kitchen to expedite the farm to table process for my students … once a day= 1 free vote. Thanks in advance.

Family favorite use of fresh basil & fresh tomatoes … didn’t make my own bread or cheese tonight but I’ll get there😉 … and the olive tree was the first thing I planted at our new location, so olive oil etc. so excited for the next few years and getting growing again.
