Tree customers will be delighted by a visit from Santa this Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm at our Rancho location at 17430 Old Summit Road in the Santa Cruz Mountains (just one mile off Highway 17). Gorgeous trees, handmade beautiful wreaths and garland, homemade hot apple cider, the old red truck and Santa!

Did you know that Patchen was the name of a town located on the farm's main property back in the mid 1800's? (why we call it the Old Town location) The stagecoach stopped across the street from the farm on its journey over the Santa Cruz Mountains. There are remnants of the old town on the farm's property including the old sidewalk in front of the barn and the big cement reservoir that served as the town's water supply. This photo was taken in 1866 near the current day Patchen Farm. Check out our website for more local history!

Can't wait any longer? Patchen Tree Farm offers Preseason Tree Cutting by Appointment. We open for the season on November 22nd at both Farms but simply contact us to bring the joy of the season even sooner!! We're so happy to share our farm with you! 🌲

Our Harvest Nights (Saturdays 4-6pm) are sooo much fun! However, due to limited parking, we will now be closing entry to the Farm at 5pm or until we reach capacity. We appreciate your understanding and we're so excited to share our farm with you!
