They have figured out how to manipulate my feelings… they make the eyes and snacks come. I am not in control here anymore.
At what point should I expect the animals to take over?

When everything happened this weekend my momma said “take off your shoes, put your toes in the dirt and go hold your favorite animal”.

It is the exact advice only a loving momma who is in touch with the earth could know.

I went to my horses and I was crying in despair and feeling betrayed. I got all the nose bumps and head nudges and they tucked their head into my shoulder until I stopped crying.

We don’t deserve the animal company we have in this world.

While we will still be cleaning up the area around the farm stand throughout the day, produce will finally be available! Don’t mind us if you see us hauling in the new fridge or moving around lighting and reinstalling solar panels.

Couple of weird inquiries for my locals…

1) Does anyone have a milk crate or two I can buy??? I need some for the stand to return egg cartons etc.

2)If you buy produce that comes in these containers and it’s in good shape, would you consider sending it to the farm? I am using it for produce that I am picking. I always save ours and wanted to recycle as much as possible with the produce stand portion of things here.

Thank you everyone for the support. We are making some progress with appeals and I can only assume it’s because of you all backing us up! We regained our “recommended” status and some post sharing is re-enabled. Pray for us that this is all resolved and that the heart of this individual will be softened to us going forward.

Do you think this town needs a meet the farmer night? I am happy to throw up the bounce houses and start a bonfire with s’mores so people can come talk to me. Whatever will put people at ease.
I may be an outsider but we came with every intent of planting generational roots. Let me know if this is needed/wanted.
