We GOT them!!
With the help of the o.p. and a guy whose wife sent him to help, and the DUMPER.
We were able to get the 4 caught. .
While we there, a man came out and asked what we were doing.
We told him trying to catch the rabbits.
He informed us that they were his rabbits that he couldn't care for anymore.
He was hoping that they would be okay outside.
His wife is pregnant and he couldn't find them homes. He thought this was the best solution.
He was at an apartment building off of a very busy road.
Thankful they were spotted and all of them have new homes.
Gave the gentleman my number in case he hears of anyone else wanting to get rid of rabbits.

Domestic rabbits aren't wild rabbits!
They cannot live on the ground, loose. They do not have any survival skills or smarts.
Please no dumping!

I will teach you. I will trim their nails. I will brush them. I will do anything I can to help. No charge.

This is not a rabbit that was "dumped"
This was an owner surrender.
Well at least not the original owner surrender.
Apparently this baby was left behind in an apartment. People took it in.
It was turned into me, after 3 months of ownership.

Rabbits are not for everyone.
If you get in over your head and you need help.

Well this is rabbits, and 99% of people who think they know what they have are wrong. Lol

Baby is safe, working on getting dry and fed.

We got a new rescue tonight. She is a big girl, probably a New Zealand. She is use to the spoiled indoor life. I have someone thinking about her, so she may not be available. but her situation struck a chord.

As the holidays approach.
If you purchase a rabbit for your grandbabies, niece, nephew, etc please okay it with the parents first!!
I have seen it so many times. Grandparents buy the rabbit and surprise everyone including the parents. This leaves the parents stuck with a responsibility they were not prepared for. Or even want. This forces the parents to be the bad guy. No one wants to be the bad guy!

Thankfully, the owner contacted us and we are glad to help and find Miss Oreo her new forever home. She is a sweet girl and I don't mind the extra cuddles.

"King's" babies are getting big. And like to sleep in odd positions. King has discovered she enjoys our momma's mix. Lol
