Happy Labor Day from Nourishing Neighbors!

Today, we’re celebrating the people who make our communities stronger every day—through hard work, caring for others, and showing up when they’re needed most.

From the hands that prepare a meal to the neighbors who deliver it, every act of service makes a difference. ❤️

This Labor Day, we’re grateful for the devoted volunteers
who help us nourish our neighbors, one meal at a time.

It’s kinda chic to be a good neighbor.

To deliver a meal.
To check in.
To lend a hand.
To make someone’s day a little easier.

Turns out, caring about your neighbors is very in.

URGENT NEED! We need YOU!

It takes a community to nourish our neighbors, and right now, we have two urgent volunteer needs in the Shively area.

Friday mornings: Help pick up meals from our caterer in St. Matthews and bring them to EACM by 8:30 AM.

Shively Route: Help deliver meals to our neighbors on Mondays, Thursdays or Fridays.

Whether you can commit every week or serve as a substitute, your time can make a real difference.

Gather your church group, organization, small group, friends or coworkers and help us nourish our neighbors — one meal at a time.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! SHIVELY MEAL DELIVERY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Nourishing Neighbors urgently needs meal delivery drivers for our Shively route beginning September 1.

Deliveries are Monday–Friday. We need both regular route volunteers and substitute drivers to help until permanent volunteers are found.

Have a little time to give? You can make a big difference—one meal at a time!

Contact Nourishing Neighbors at 502-896-2316 to learn more or volunteer!
