Yesterday was weaning day for everyone besides Lee. Girls are happy to be back in pasture and lambs seem like they didn’t mind either.

Happy Easter to everyone✝️🐣

Well, lambing season has finally came to an end. It was a rough one but we are glad it ended with a healthy ram and ewe lamb being born from Addie’s favorite, Lee (Thiesen 2406). This was a surprise as she ultrasound for none, must have been too early to detect. Anyway, we hope everyone else had/has a healthy season!

This is too cute to not share 🥰. This little fella started limping on a front leg. We splinted it at home then it was brought into Addie’s work today. Did some x-rays and turns out there’s a fracture in each leg. Poor baby…
Splinted both legs and will recheck him in 2 weeks

Little lambing update for everyone! Had a set of ram lambs during the middle of the night. Was a slow start for the one of them and Addie had to tube it and now looks a little better. Then around 9am this morning, we had more babies which unexpectedly turned into a set of triplets! As of now, have had a lot of ram lambs compared to ewes. Everyone is doing good so far!!

Well it’s the time we’ve been looking for!

Babies finally have arrived! Of course they chose the night/early morning the day Addie left for a conference in Florida. It all worked out in the end. Babies are happy and healthy!

More updates and photos to come!!

If you guys didn’t realize, chore time is the best time, per Lainey!

January lambs should be hitting the ground soon!

We wish everyone else a good, healthy, happy lambing season!!

Now that the dust has settled from the green shavings, finally got around to look at pictures.

Had such a great time as always. We were short handed for the open show so no pictures of us actually showing were taken. Always appreciate help from the whole Inbody crew and Wyatt. Congratulatins to all the other breeders there. Cannot wait for next year as it’s Addie’s last year showing in junior shows. That’s a wrap on the 2025 show season..

Individual placings are posted under each picture.

Lambing season has come upon us…finally!

Our first fall lamb came today. A perfect little ewe lamb. We have one more due, will probably come while we are showing at NAILE, for fall. The rest are for January and February. Ultrasounding will happen Saturday to see who is bred for January/February!

I would like to congratulate Aaron and Matthew Piehl for winning grand and reserve champion market lamb rate of gain at the Allen County Fair! Both of these guys (pictured number 425 and 418) purchased a total of 3 market lambs between the 2 of them from us and had a successful fair! It’s something that as a breeder and buyer, we look forward to. Great job finishing out these lambs you two!
