Every taste tells a story

Small Batch Bourbon Ponzu started with a whole lot of lemons and a maker with an eye for efficiency.

Traditional ponzu uses yuzu. We use lemon because yuzu doesn’t exactly grow in Kentucky.

We’re celebrating Wimbledon with one of the tournament’s oldest traditions.

For nearly 150 years, strawberries and cream have been the tournament’s signature summer tradition, served since the very first matches in 1877. We took that classic pairing and made it our own with Bourbon Vanilla Sugar and Bourbon Madagascar Vanilla Extract.

First bite reaction says it all. Strange, then suddenly it makes sense.

Matt first discovered this on his travels through Japan. It’s our nod to a long-standing tradition there, where soy sauce is drizzled over soft serve, creating a salted caramel-like effect. The umami deepens the sweetness and transforms something familiar into something unexpected.

This feature a part of our Summer of Soy offered during tours and at this Friday’s happy hour. Come try a sample and see what your reaction will be.
