🌶️✨ 35 Gallons of Pure Texas Heat! 🔥👇
Y'all, I’ve been a little behind on posting, but for the absolute best reason—the garden is booming! 😭🙌

Here is what went down this week in Bolicious land:

Thursday: My amazing cabana boy got everything fertilized, and I got straight to work watering it all in. 🌾💦

Friday: The big haul! We picked a whopping 35 gallons of fresh jalapeño peppers! 🧺😍 They are officially sliced, and loaded up onto the dehydrators as we speak. YAY! 🎉🧪

Saturday (This morning): Our Dear Lord is doing the watering for us today! 🌧️🙏 Let’s be real, city water just can’t compete with the Lord's water.

I hope if you have gardens of your own, you're getting some of this beautiful rain to give your hose a break!

🍉 Melon Slinging 101: Arching to the Sky… and Falling with Style! 🍈

Quick garden update! Remember my cantaloupes and watermelons growing on the cattle panel arch? Well, they are officially loving life up there—so much that they're getting too heavy for their own good! 🤦‍♀️

After losing 3 watermelons to pure gravity (boo!! 🌧️❌), I knew I had to take action. Enter: the melon hammocks! 🧺✨ I purchased these mesh bags and tied them securely to the paneling to give these heavy-lifters the support they deserve.

Fingers crossed for a successful harvest from here on out! 🤞 Out of curiosity, has anyone else had to fashion a DIY sling for their vertical garden? Drop your tips below! 👇👇

🍉 Arching to the Sky... and Falling with Style! 🍈
It’s my very first year growing cantaloupes and watermelons on a cattle panel arch, and oh my goodness, talk about a jungle! 🌿✨

The good news? The melons are absolutely loving it up there! They aren't rotting on the ground, and the rabbits can't get a single bite. 🐰❌

The bad news? I’ve already lost two due to pure weight! 😳🤦‍♀️ Live and learn, right? It looks like I am officially going to have to support these heavy-lifters in some sort of sling.
