September now and produce has been great! You can see some of the ongoing projects we have. The peaches aren’t ours. Eric found 14 pits beneath our peach tree; somebody helped themselves to a LOT of fruit.

The strawberry and apple blossoms look so promising. You’ll notice, though, the absence of bugs in these photos? That’s how it’s been nearly every time I go to the garden. Silence. I’ve read about it, heard about it, but still feel shocked at the absence of humming and buzzing.
