Top of the Lake Coffee was formed out of a desire to provide outstanding, freshly roasted specialty coffee for those who already purchase and enjoy coffee, but who also want to provide hope and a means for community development in coffee-producing communities. The partnership encourages farmers to grow healthier and more-productive crops, which develops a more-sustainable income while providing an
economic engine so the farmers’unique gifts and strengths might flourish in their community. Top of the Lake links two markets: individuals who love freshly roasted specialty coffee, and our partners, the coffee-producing farmers. More than 150 million Americans (18 and older) drink coffee on a daily basis, with 65 percent of coffee drinkers consuming their hot beverage in the morning. Through Top of the Lake, US coffee drinkers will contribute to a consistent, livable income for coffee farmers, enabling them to flourish in their family and impact their local community.
