We’ve had SO many new faces around here lately, so I figured it was time to reintroduce myself ☺️

I’m Sam 👋🏽 owner, baker, decorator, dishwasher supervisor, late-night frosting taste tester, and the heart behind Sparkle & Sprinkles by Sam 🧁✨

I’m a Lubbock local, born & raised, and a proud Texas Tech MBA alum ♥️🖤 My love for baking started way back in the kitchen with my Mamaw, and later grew while working at the United/Market Street Bakery during college. That’s where I learned so many of the skills I still use today, from piping techniques to food safety and everything in between.

By day, I work full-time as a bank regulator. By night (and weekends 😅), I’m in my kitchen creating custom sweets for all of you amazing people. Whether it’s cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, brownies, or sweet treat boxes, this little business has become such a huge passion of mine 🥹

And of course, I couldn’t survive without my fiancé, Mitchell — full-time wildland firefighter and my unpaid assistant manager/VP of dishes 😂 He’s the reason the kitchen stays semi-clean and I occasionally remember to eat and drink water while baking. We get married in October 🤍

Let’s go down memory lane together 🥹

I started offering sugar cookies in August 2025, and before those little sunshine cookies… I had never even attempted royal icing 😅 Thankfully they were for family, so the pressure was low.

Now look how far I’ve come 🤍 From simple flowers to themed sets, spooky cookies, and detailed designs. Every order has taught me something new. I’m still learning and growing every single day, but I promise to always make your treats delicious, made with love, and cute as a button 😉🫶🏽
