10 weeks ➡️ 5 months 🐰🔥
Same homegrown buck, just a little more grown up!

This is why we raise our own grow-outs and give them time to develop. What starts as potential at 10 weeks can look VERY different at 5 months. This guy has continued to add depth, width, mass and that big hindquarter we're looking for — so we've decided he's staying right here as part of our future breeding program. ❤️🐰

Homegrown. Home-raised. Homegrown genetics.
Quality over quantity, every time.

🏆 1st Place in Class — Brown County 2026 Market Rabbit Show! 🏆

Congratulations, and THANK YOU for trusting us and choosing a Dirt Poor Rabbitry rabbit! ❤️🐇

This rabbit is out of one of our top-of-the-line breeding does that we added to our herd this summer, and we couldn’t be more excited to see what she produces for us next year!

We’re so proud to see our genetics making their way into show barns and bringing home the ribbons! 🏆

Dirt Poor Rabbitry — quality that speaks for itself. 🐇❤️🖤

🍂🐰 HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL! 🐰🍂

Crisp mornings, cooler temps, colorful leaves & happy bunnies… we’re ready for FALL! 🧡🍁

🐇 Did you know rabbits naturally grow a thicker coat as the weather cools down, helping keep them warm through those chilly fall and winter days! ❄️🤎

Bring on the pumpkins, cozy weather & all the floppy ears! 🎃🐰

🐰 Dirt Poor Rabbitry | 2027 Goals & Plans 🐰

For 2027, we’re choosing to hold at the numbers we currently have and focus on QUALITY over QUANTITY. ❤️

Our goal has always been to help make sure as many kids as possible can get the rabbits they need for 4-H — but we never want to do that at the expense of the quality we know we can provide.

We’re excited to continue improving, growing our program the right way, and seeing what 2027 holds for Dirt Poor Rabbitry and all of you! 🐰❤️

Thank you for being part of our journey!

🍂🐰 END OF SUMMER = BARN CLEANOUT TIME! 🐰🍂

Summer got BUSY around here, and the barn is definitely showing it! 😂 So it’s time to roll up our sleeves, move some things around, deep clean, organize, and get everything ready for the cooler months ahead. 💪🧹

Because if you have a rabbitry… you already know:

Clean barn = happy buns! 🐰❤️

🐰❤️ OFF TO THEIR NEW 4-H HOME! ❤️🐰

Two of our rabbits are headed to their new 4-H home as they begin their journey toward the Brown County Fair! 🎡🐰

We are SO excited to have a few of our Dirt Poor Rabbitry babies representing us in a new-to-us county this year! Watching these rabbits grow, learn, and head off to new families is one of the best parts of what we do. ❤️

We can’t wait to follow along and cheer them on at the Brown County Fair! 🏆🐰

Good luck, kiddos — now go make Dirt Poor Rabbitry proud! 💪❤️
