🍁🍂 Fall-Halloween Harvest Hash Mix
Here is the recipe for the fall chex snack mix i made in the last video. Also a picture so you can see how pretty it is
It’s that time of year again. Make this and put it in a pretty container for Fall. It will last you throughout the fall and everyone loves it. They make great little gift bags for parties. You can take away or add to the ingredients depending on what you like.
~~Ingredients ~~
1 (12 oz.) box Rice Chex
1 bag Bugles
1 (12 oz.) bag Snyder’s Itty Bitty Mini Pretzels
1 cup butter
1 cup Dixie Crystals Light Brown Sugar
2 teaspoons pure Vanilla Extract
1 (14 oz.) bag Brach’s Mellowcreme Autumn Mix
3 (2.7/8 oz.) pkgs. Frito-Lay Munchies Honey Roasted Peanuts
3 (4 oz.) boxes Reese’s Pieces or Autumn M&M’s
~~Instructions ~~
Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Line 2 large baking sheets with parchment paper.
In a LARGE bowl, add your rice Chex, bugles and pretzels, and set aside.
In a microwaveable bowl, melt your butter. Then add your brown sugar and stir to melt the sugar. To the sugar mixture, add your vanilla extract and stir.
Pour the sugar mixture over the rice chex, bugles and pretzels. (I used gloves to mix thoroughly as to not break up the bugles.)
Divide the mixture evenly onto the baking sheets. Bake at 275 degrees for 45 minutes, using a rubber spatula to stir every 15 minutes.
Remove from oven and set aside to cool completely.
After cooled, return the mixture to a large bowl and add your autumn mix, roasted peanuts and Reese pieces. Enjoy!
Store in an airtight container.
