Spent the day w**ding. Yes, I’m always w**ding…😞…I keep telling myself it will be worth it when the dahlias start blooming. I’m so excited that today I can say we are officially getting closer to bloom time!

Went to check on the dahlias today . They are growing and looking good. Found some beneficial Common Red Soldier beetles on the sunflowers. Feeling excited that they’ll eat the aphids and help pollinate the plants. Had to delay w**ding for a couple of days, so I temporarily lost some dahlias in the w**d jungle. Hand pulled the w**ds to find them just before the natural irrigation waters came.🌧️ Also discovered the sweet alyssum I scattered is growing! Extra w**d suppression help is in the way!!🎉
