GUYS!!! It's my day (and yours if you like sweets)!

I'm using today as an excuse to indulge in a few of my favorites...I'm sure dark chocolate is going to be in there somewhere!

What are your favorite desserts? Let me know in the comments! 🩷

Sorry, everyone! I hate to do this, but October is just way too busy for me to do a proper Bake Weekend. :(

I hope you understand~I had a LONG list of recipes to share! But, I'm feeling like God is telling me to slow down a bit and enjoy this season. I need to spend more time with our family and friends, be involved at church, and finish one project instead of balancing two. Plus, I haven't been able to cheer on my Meridian Hawks football yet!

If you know me, you know patience isn't one of my strengths! I have things to do! But I'm going to try to be patient for the rest of this month and take a few steps away from baking for the farmstand. (If you need me, I will literally be a few steps from the farmstand working on The Greenhouse.)

Praying you all find a little rest and recovery this month, too. With all the activities, it is hard to just BE. Take care of yourselves, and I'll share some goodies with you in November.

My favorite date... for going to the grain elevator! (I'll always choose him every other type of date, too!) 🥰❤️

This morning was for early morning coffee on the porch, wrapped up in a blanket, enjoying life. 😊 Honestly, I've been looking forward to it all week!

While I've been listening to the birds waking up (and the roosters never going to sleep!), I've been looking at the project that seems to be taking forever. 🤣 But, it's ok. We have full time jobs...and we're tired! We just don't move as fast as we used to. I think we lack motivation! 😁

Here's what Gemini says The Greenhouse will look like from our porch. What do you think? We have diffused polycarbonate panels for the roof, but we're thinking metal would probably last longer. Which image do you like better? Let us know your thoughts. 👇

Our excitement this evening was a new bunch of girls on the farm. 🐝

A lovely contractor saved them during a remodel in the big city and helped move them to the country. We think they'll like it better here, don't you? 😊

We're hoping they have enough time to get acclimated before winter. It will require some effort, with feeding on our part and foraging on theirs. 🤞 Please wish them luck!!!

Two windows hung tonight before it got too dark. The Greenhouse is coming along. 💚

Today, I want to thank all those teachers who had an impact on my life...you are why I teach!

Thank you for instilling a love of lifelong learning, a curiosity about the world around me, and for modeling what great teaching looks like!

To my colleagues, you are THE BEST! I learn something new from each of you daily...whether you are a first-year teacher or a seasoned veteran. Please know you are greatly appreciated! 🥰
