We made the long trip down to Donalsonville this weekend for the Firehouse BBQ festival. We finally heard our names called in all three categories.
Finished 10th in loin, 4th in butts and 6th in ribs putting us 6th overall.

Thanks to the organizers for always putting on a great competition! And, thanks to the guys who fried all the fish for the fish fry, along with everyone that provided the sides.

We finally have a week off, then on to the Fire Ant Festival! 🐷

Big Daddy’s Meat House had a good day today in Dilly Dally in Dooly. We finished 6th in ribs and 5th in pork, which has us 7th overall. Happy for a good cook, excited to see what we can accomplish in the coming weeks. Thank you Rhonda Lamb for always putting together a great competition! We love you!
Glad our family was able to make it down! On to Tifton next weekend….

Started off this year’s season at the Carroll's Sausage and Country Store BBQ competition sponsored by the Scottish Rite Orient of Georgia.

We finished 4th in Ribs which helped put us 9th overall.

Next stop… Dilly Dally in Dooly
