We have started harvesting lavender & oregano from our herb trough and can’t wait to start infusing them into our goat milk products!! 🌿 stay tuned!!

This was labor of love!! Karlyn was stung multiple times by a bald-faced hornet while harvesting these herbs 😅🤦‍♀️

We are at Polyface Farm for the Homestead in a Weekend Conference in Swoope, VA with our book Soaping Clean and Sawdust Publishing!! We absolutely love being apart of the HOA events and are so excited be teaching a homestead class for the kiddos aka “kidsteaders” about GOATS! 🐐 We even brought our very own Maggie & Lilac 🙂

In this Kidsteaders class, kids will join Wendy & Karly for hands-on fun learning all about goats—from different breeds to what makes some goats great for milk, meat, or even natural lawn care 🌿

They’ll also get an up-close look at goat anatomy and learn practical homestead skills in a way that’s engaging and memorable for kids.

Classes are limited and pre-registration is required!

This Saturday 5/16 we will be at the 38th Annual Virginia Wine & Craft Festival in Downtown Front Royal, VA!! 🍷🎨

The Festival hours are 11am-6pm and there will be over 200 artisans & makers, food & festival fare, live entertainment all day, family-friendly fun, and wine, cider, & mead tastings!

Come out & see us! We will be located at space G041 & G043 by the Gazebo & live music 🎶
