Taking the day off from treats today! Today is mine and Ryder’s 2nd wedding anniversary 💍, so I’m stepping away from the kitchen and taking the day to celebrate with my husband. 🥰

I’ll be back at it tomorrow and answering all messages, working on orders, and getting back to all things sweet! 🍰🩷

Thank you all for understanding! 🫶🏼

A little follow-up to my “Buy a First Responder a Cake Pop” post! 🩷 Today, I had the chance to drop off some sweet treats for our local first responders! 🥹❤️ I’m so happy they loved their treats! I just wanted to take a moment to explain my original post because I know there may have been some misunderstanding about my intentions.

The cake pops I personally donated were items I had already made for my vendor setup over the weekend. Rather than letting the extras sit around or potentially go to waste, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to share them with some of the amazing people in our community who work so hard to serve and protect us. ❤️

I also gave people the option to purchase a $5 cake pop to donate to a first responder. I received a few comments suggesting that I was trying to profit from doing something nice, and that truly was never my intention.

As a small business, there are still costs involved with everything I make.. ingredients, packaging, supplies, and my time. While I would absolutely love to be able to give away unlimited treats for free, if I take too much of a loss, unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to afford to continue doing things like this.

The $5 simply gave others in the community the option to participate by purchasing a cake pop for a first responder while helping cover the cost of making them. ❤️ While no one ended up contributing toward the cake pops, I was still happy to donate a dozen of treats myself and drop them off to show my appreciation for our local first responders.

I’m sorry if anyone took my original post the wrong way. My heart was truly in the right place, and I was simply trying to spread a little kindness, give back to our community, and show some appreciation to our local first responders. 🫶❤️

Thank you to all of our local first responders for everything you do! ❤️ I’m so happy they loved their treats, and I hope to be able to do more things like this in the future! 🧁💕
