Happy Tuesday! This is just a friendly reminder that this is your last few weeks to get your Caribbean fusion fix. We are getting close to being open with the new cart and will be suspending daily vending at the end of this month. With this announcement we also want to make you aware that not everything will be available on the menu this last week, we apologize in advance. This means you have exactly 7 more days of vending until we switch over for the summer. We appreciate the support and hope to see all of you!

An announcement from Jason’s Caribbean Fusion.

As promised with our first post of the year we have a big announcement and that time has come to reveal what it is!

As some of you know or might know we have been working on building a second concept over this past year. We have got to the point of only needing approval from the health department and our final license with the city and we feel like now is the proper time to announce it to the public. We are starting a from scratch sandwich concept. This means the bread and everything else that goes in the sandwich as well as sides will be made in house. With the good news comes some bad as well. In order to make sure the new concept starts well we will be suspending daily vending operations through the summer in order to focus full time on the new concept. This will happen in early June. That being said if we have events booked with you don’t worry they are set in stone and we will be there. We want to highlight that this is not a permeate closure. We will reevaluate our daily vending schedule for the fall at the end of summer.

We truly appreciate the support over the years. I am grateful for every guest who enjoys our food and supports our humble cart. This was my first business and it surpassed my expectations by a lot. Non of that would have been possible without all the support from everyone who helps make this ship sail. It was a tough decision to take this hiatus but we want to ensure a successful start to this new chapter and we felt to do that we had to narrow our focus on one or the other. This is not goodbye we hope to see you all over at the new cart this summer! Until then find us for a few more weeks Monday through Friday on State Street 11-2!

It is finally time! We have a few announcements so exciting I hear they will block out the sun later today! (Not scientifically verifiable*)

First and foremost we will be back in action starting TOMORROW!!! You can find us at our regular State Street location starting tomorrow through the rest of the week for lunch.

The second and in my opinion the most exciting news I’ve brought you all, is that this year we are opening a second cart with a new concept!!! We are keeping what the concept is a secret for only a week or two until we have a few more things finalized. After that we will fully announce the new project!! I will say that I am very excited about it and I think you all will love it as much as we do! It’s going to be a little different style than most other mobile food services around town with a true focus of quality over quantity.

We love you Mad City and can’t not wait for this years journey! We appreciate all the support and cannot wait to see all your beautiful faces and serve you the best possible food we can!

We will be closed this week as we finish our extended vacation for Labor Day weekend and get the cart ready for the start of the fall semester and the annual city wide food cart review! We can’t wait for all the life the students bring to State Street and are excited to see all the familiar faces. We will be reopen on September 12th 11am-2pm on State Street and will continue the regular scheduled program until the end of the season!

Jerk chicken drummies!!!!!

We are coming at you with a new tester item this week, grilled jerk chicken drumsticks with our coconut like rice and beans. As always you get your choice of spice, no, medium, or hot and will be available while supplies last and with the possibility of becoming a staple menu item if you all like it.

We hope to see you all this week regular hours and locations minus the farmers market we will be at another event this Saturday

We have returned from our darkness retreat! We will be back to our regular scheduled hours and locations at Library Mall and the Farmers Market starting this Tuesday. We will see all you lovely people soon!
