For the women who fed us love.
Every Sunday after mass, my grandmother would take me to the bakery near her church. We'd sit together and share a mallorca sandwich β just the two of us.
I was a picky eater. Barely touched my food most days. But for mallorcas? Always yes.
That little ritual became something bigger. We ate together every week until the day I moved to the United States. She never made a big deal of it. She just... showed up, with food, with softness, with her whole heart.
She loved people through her kitchen. Through the little treats. Through sitting down and sharing something warm.
Sin-A-Roll exists because of her.
This Mother's Day, take a moment for the woman who fed you love. It doesn't have to be your mom β it could be an abuela, a tΓa, a neighbor, a friend who always had a plate ready.
She deserves to be celebrated. π€
