So I’ve been thinking…
(Oh Parks here we go again..🫨)
I’ve been debating on whether to add Quail or not. I know a few people close to me that have raised them but just a few here and there.
I’m still in the research process as I’m not jumping into nothing fast.

What I want to know from you (People that have or have had them) is this:
-Why Quail?
-What is your enclosure like and what would you change about it. (Natural like or Cage)
-What mistakes did you make that you won’t make again?
-Pros & Cons
-I’m in South Tx, So would like to hear from a good portion of people that experience hotter climates with humidity

This is my grow out section. I can hold 4 rows of 6 cages. 2, 3 hole cages. Cage dimensions are 24x36x18 (WxLxH). 9ft per 3 hole.
I could eventually do double stacked if I wanted to.
Very sturdy and it would have to take A LOT of weight to pull
these down. What do you think? Will this help you?!

My friend (The Piney Woods Escape)and I drove to Stephenville, Texas for a rabbit clinic held by Fort Worth's Finest Rabbitry. Had a great time, met some cool people and saw a bunch of different breeds! I also got recognized twice for the first time out in public at the clinic!! How cool! Pt.2 Update!

The kitten I saved off a busy highway yesterday is safe and is doing well!!
He is a big cuddle bug. Just has some scrapes on back legs but will heal up in no time!
His brothers (2 orange cats) are NOT A FAN but will come around. His sister (2 dogs) are very intrigued. Slow introductions for some time.

Rash (aka Road Rash 😂)is doing great! So glad to add him to the crew!🖤

PT. 1 Ran some errands today and ended up risking my life to save a kitten. Memaw was panicking the whole time but was shocked the cat was still in the same place near a concrete wall. I told her “YOU know who I am and KNOW I can’t leave an animal like that knowing it’s still alive!” She was a trooper though. Mind you I can spot an animal almost anywhere. Going 55 down the freeway and saw a kitten curled up on the shoulder. You best believe I’m U-TURNING!!

Everyone meet Rash 🩹❤️‍🩹 (aka Road Rash) as he does have some scrapes on his legs.
Taking home to give a bath and will keep everyone posted.

It’s not even noon on a Monday…please leave me alone. Emotionally volatile at that age is quite… alarming. 🫪Me: Ok 👍🏼 🕺😃

These are the days I live for. Spending all the time with them I can is everything to me. They deserve the world. They love when babies are here, grow outs getting big, & eating rabbit that I grew. Any chance they get to help they jump on it!
I am very grateful for the support system that I have are the ones closest to me. As long as their plates are full, I will continue to do what I love.
Growing my own food has brought a sense of joy I didn’t know I could have. The best decision I’ve ever made and wouldn’t change it for the world. 💕🐇

You all are about to be SICK OF ME!! 😏👩‍🍳

A goal of mine has been to find meals that are not only good, but won’t take all day to prep and cook! A good portion being Rabbit Meal ideas.
Also cooking is stressful for me but what better to way to help than to cook more! Hahah Exposure therapy at its finest.
It use to be worse as I had no idea what I was doing but definitely has gotten less stressful over time. The only thing that has helped…you gotta get INFRONT of that stove!

(Rabbit recipes all throughout my page! Look for the meal picture on the reels tab, makes the dinner videos easy to find! YW)
