Had a bevy of requests for new wines this week, per usual I'm happy* to oblige.

Le Petit Smith Haut Lafitte is a dynamite medium body bordeaux, silky smooth with black currants and a bit of black and white pepper.

Petraluce Verdeca, a Puglian indigenous varietal that is PERFECT for the heat these days

Lioco Sonoma County Chardonnay, a fresh, zesty relatively light treatment of a California Chard. Minimal neutral oak for just a kiss of deeper structure.

Uccelliera Rosso Di Montalcino, medium body but firm tannins in this sangiovese make a perfect pizza wine.

Hurray!

Quite the grab bag of new stuff in house this month:

LALO Tequila Blanco - rocking an 87 on Agave Matchmaker and requested by not one but two customers

Indri Trini Indian Single Malt Whiskey - another request from a customer, on the mild side with a spicy finish, absolutely worth the wait (having a moment in the city so hard to find out here)

Antioqueno Aguardiente - Colombian standby, diversifying my distilled cane spirits with some rustic options.

YoYo Bateau Ivre Grenache - another request from a customer and five months down the road of trying to find it. Extremely pale, medium bodied supple, drinkable wine that can be chilled for those (as of this point, distant) summer days!
