We had such an amazing time this past weekend at Spring Crunchy Fest! 🌿🐐 Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, talked homesteading with us, supported our mission, and shared part of your weekend with us. We truly love getting to connect with this community. ❤️

One thing this weekend really confirmed for us is how passionate we are about helping families grow their homesteads, learn new skills, and feel more confident living a more self-sufficient lifestyle. Because of that, we are wanting to start focusing more on offering classes, workshops, and hands-on learning opportunities through Rooted Acres Ohio!

Great opportunity to learn about goats!

The Warren County Dairy Goat 4-H Club is hosting a Goat Clinic this Saturday, April 11th from 9:00am - 12:30pm in building H at the Warren County Fairgrounds. Jim Wilson will be teaching Quality Assurance. Don't forget to bring personal hygiene donations for Sugar Tree Ministries!

Sometimes the people who feed our communities are the ones who quietly need help the most.

At Rooted Acres Ohio, our mission has always been about caring for both people and animals. Recently, we’ve had several farmers reach out to us during difficult seasons, and it has opened our eyes to an important need in our farming community.

Many small farmers are doing everything they can to keep their farms running and care for their animals. Several of the families we are working with are actively applying for farm grants and assistance programs, but those processes can take time and they have not received help yet.

In the meantime, the needs are still very real.

Right now we know of farmers who need things like fencing materials, hay for their animals, and extra hands to help with farm projects while they work through unexpected life circumstances.

We are stepping in to help where we can, but we would love to invite our Rooted Acres community to be part of supporting local farmers during these in-between seasons.

If you would be willing to volunteer your time to help with farm projects, please send us a message.

If you would like to help financially, donations to our Farmer Support & Relief Fund allow us to respond quickly when farmers in our community need support.
