🐣💕🐣HAPPY HATCH UPDATE🐣💕🐣

I have been working on having a variety of chick colors. Would yall just look at all these babies! These pictures are from 2 different test hatchers. I am extremely pleased with fertility rates & the variety of chick colors.

The 1st picture, the hatcher used an incubator, 16/18 eggs went into lockdown!!

The rest of the pictures are from the 2nd test Hatcher who used a few broody hens to hatch for her, 23/24 eggs developed under the hens!!

When they see me coming with the bucket they know what time it is…It’s time for MUSH (chicken crack)!!! 💕

Mush- Regular feed, I added warm water, wait about 10min for the crumbles to get mushy like thick oat meal & serve. 🍵

I don’t give my chickens scratch since it’s considered junk food, they get this a few days a week instead. They think they are getting a treat with their little mush faces.

I am going out of town in a couple weeks and don’t want any eggs to go to waste. I will have hatching eggs available super cheap until I leave. They will be hens choice (whatever they lay) from now until I leave. I WILL NOT be taking any new specific orders until I get back.

T my little splash Silverudd Blue (5 mths old) from down the bayou. Having breakfast with his ladies.

When he was picked up from Raceland he rode the entire ride back to Mandeville on the center console, like he has been riding in cars his whole life.🤣
