Roost 66, Home of Happy Hens Roost 66 was established on June 4, 2012 with the delivery of 40 chicks (pullets) to Kiefner Farms. Two days later, they were joined by 25 more.

They should begin laying eggs some time in October.

The girls delivered an ultimatum to mother nature, “warmer temperatures and more sunshine or we won’t lay eggs anymore”. Mother nature caved in and now I’m getting about five dozen eggs a day. Eggs for sale. Picked up at farm $5/dozen. . Never mind the snow today, that was a clerical error on mother nature‘s part.
