🥩🍤 Juicy Carnivore Steak & Shrimp Alfredo Skillet
Ingredients
Steak & Shrimp
1 lb (450 g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size pieces
12 oz (340 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp beef tallow, optional
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper, optional
Carnivore Alfredo Sauce
2 tbsp butter
¾ cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ tsp garlic powder, optional
Salt, to taste
Instructions
Prepare the steak: Pat the steak pieces dry and season with salt and optional black pepper.
Sear the steak: Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add 1 tablespoon butter or tallow. Sear the steak pieces for 2–3 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness. Transfer to a plate.
Cook the shrimp: Add another tablespoon of butter to the skillet. Cook shrimp for approximately 1–2 minutes per side, until pink, opaque, and cooked through. Transfer to the plate with the steak.
Make the Alfredo: Reduce the heat to medium-low. Add 2 tablespoons butter and heavy cream to the same skillet. Simmer gently for 2 minutes.
Add cream cheese and stir until smooth. Gradually add Parmesan, stirring continuously until melted and creamy. Do not let the sauce boil.
Combine: Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Gently toss everything through the Alfredo sauce.
Finish: Simmer for 1–2 minutes just to warm everything through.
Serve immediately with extra Parmesan if desired.

🥩🧈 High-Protein Carnivore Brown Butter Beef Ricotta Bowls
Ingredients
1 lb (450 g) ground beef, preferably 80–90% lean
2 tbsp unsalted butter
¾ cup whole-milk ricotta cheese
½ tsp salt, or to taste
¼ tsp black pepper (optional for strict carnivore)
¼ tsp garlic powder (optional; omit for strict carnivore)
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp heavy cream, optional
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, optional
Instructions
Brown the beef: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook for 7–10 minutes, breaking it apart as it browns. Season with salt.
Prepare the brown butter: Push the beef to one side of the pan. Add the butter to the empty side and let it melt. Continue cooking until it turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma, about 2–4 minutes. Watch it closely so it doesn't burn.
Combine: Stir the browned butter into the beef until everything is well coated.
Make the ricotta: In a bowl, mix the ricotta with Parmesan and heavy cream until smooth and creamy. Season lightly with salt.
Build the bowls: Divide the creamy ricotta between two bowls and top generously with the brown-butter beef.
Finish: Drizzle any remaining browned butter from the skillet over the top. Add parsley if desired.
Serve: Enjoy immediately while the beef is hot and the ricotta is creamy.
Q&A
Q: Is this recipe carnivore?
A: The core ingredients are animal-based, but ricotta and Parmesan are dairy products. For a strict carnivore approach, choose dairy according to your personal tolerance and dietary rules.

Q: Can I use ground chuck?
Yes. Ground chuck works especially well because its higher fat content pairs beautifully with brown butter and ricotta.

Q: Can I substitute cottage cheese for ricotta?
Yes. Cottage cheese creates a higher-protein alternative, although the texture will be slightly different.
