Happy fall, yall! Hope all yall are doing well. I've got some regretful news regarding our next market that we love to attend each year.

Nashville Pagan Pride Day is one of our regular market fairs that we greatly enjoy, but we have to miss this year's fair due to back to back to back to back to back family health situations. That's not overdramatics. 😄🤕 Situations that have involved kids and parents in serious conditions, surgical procedures, and hospital stays. Idk if it's the eclipse energies or what, but boy, have these last few weeks been a whirlwind. The good news is that these serious conditions were indeed taken seriously. Our family is working together in several ways, including family that lives hours away from us, and no one is dead or dying. Trust a Sagittarius rising like me to always see a glass as half full when it is. While we are getting through these health journeys, they are not over with, and there are just not enough clones of me to tend to everyone, the farm, the animals, my school responsibilities, and do a 2 hr away one way trip market. Honestly, I wouldn't even be able to do one down the road right now. I always said if I ever miss a market, it'll be due to serious health issues, and that's the status as of now.

We adore the Nashville Pagan Pride community and hate to miss out on its special day this year, but be assured we will sign up again for next year's. Also, the website is still going strong, and we are filling orders through it. Our next market may even be next year, since our typical holiday markets are not available atm, but in our case, maybe thats meant to be with all the family care, farm care, and school work I have on my plate at the moment. I have learned in my over 40 years to just follow the signposts the Universe leaves for me.

Look at what Universe gave me for my birfday. 🥰 Phone didn't get the beauty of the Cheshire Cat crescent moon tho. Great moon photos still elude me! Even after all these ... 29 years of mine. ☺️

Long time no post, huh? Been super busy with family stuff and getting prepared to move out to the Cookeville area soon to be closer to family, but nature work is what I do, so no worries on me stoppin. 😊

Not doing a ton of markets this year due to the upcoming move, but you know we're not gonna miss Punk Rock! My musical Rosy self prefers the music markets. So far, this is the only Boro market we do, so if you're out that way, we'd love to see you!

One of my favorite websites!!! One of many reasons why I adore her and her work is her amazing research skills. My Sag rising self is constantly seeking more knowledge, knowledge that is true and is as accurate as possible, but I do also take into account the nuances of culture, individual expression and opinion, etc. That takes a ton of time researching. Time is a resource that is scarce to me these days. She helps to nourish a huge part of my soul (and she has lots of food articles on her site too btw), and I bet she would yours too.

Working on admin stuff lately. Figuring out markets to attend. Preparing for a move to what will likely be the Cookeville area to be closer to family. Our family is mostly concentrated on the east side of Davidson county/Nashville, and the forces that be are certainly pointing us in that direction. I'll put up a blog post on the website soon. So many thanks to everyone who supported DSF in 2023, however you gave support! We send you so much love with gratitude. This is a kind of work that is a labor of love without expectation of becoming rich with money, although being able to pay the bills is nice. 😊 It is a labor of love that brings other kinds of riches, however. Ty to everyone who has given us support in any way. Ty to everyone I had lovely botanical and fungal convos with. 2024 is going to be a year that brings change for DSF. We are planning a move east of Davidson County to be closer to family and friends. We'll certainly keep everyone updated. Hope everyone had a lovely holiday season and new year and that 2024 brings nothing but love, health, and abundance for yall! 😘

Its a sad truth, but it is what it is. Also, its a huge factor in the why and how of our increasingly difficult economic times for people who aren't the 1%ers. I did many speeches and papers on this in college. When one supports smaller, family owned businesses those businesses give more back to their communities. It's more balanced. Bigger corporations and celebrities are massively less likely to give back at all, with a very small number of exceptions. Plus one should think about why and how prices are lower at many of these big stores. Where are costs cut? By giving laborers elsewhere in the world pennies for dollars? Bags of rice with rocks in it? I could go on amd on but im sure you get it. I do understand with times as financially tight as they are now sometimes we have to go the cheaper route just to put food on the table and pay basic bills. I feel ya. But if we all did what we could when we're able, a major positive economic shift would be upon us. Hopefully 2024 can be a year for more health, wealth, happiness, and love for us all. Take care of yourselves yall. 😘

Its here! And were here along with lots of other amazing artisans with super awesome things to buy for holiday gifts, and of course, rockin' bands playing some super rad live music! Even if I wasn't working this event, it'd be my fave market to do my holiday shopping at. Nummy food and drinks. The weather is mild! Were here today AND tomorrow! Come on out and hang for a spell! Early bird tickets are available for Saturday, and trust me when I say people take advantage. I have sold out of items just in that early bird hour before. Theres a Toys for Tots collection so bring a new and unwrapped present for that. Little ones are very welcome but they may want some ear protection cuz it can get loud. Well be there with all our typical herbal goodies, wood carvings, and fiber art. Be sure to swing on by and say hi! Hope yall have a safe and very happy holiday season!
