Cheers to another Maple Syrup season. 35 taps in 15 trees kept us busy on our evenings and weekends. The weather wasn't perfect, but I can still hear my grandfather Ralph whispering his guidance as the season progressed. We should have just over 3 gallons of syrup once the final boil is completed. This season we also had to say goodbye to our rooster Billy Bob and found a formidable replacement in Wilson, he loves it here.

It's Goldenrod season. The bees are busy gathering their final food stores for the season. If you see this plant around you're very likely to encounter bees. We will be extracting our last supply of honey in the next couple weeks.
