Happy Birthday to the man who installed our farm fence backwards and unknowingly started the whole Back Fence Farm & Breadery adventure. ❤️

What began as a simple fence project turned into so much more—a dream, a business, and a life we’ve built together. Through every project, every challenge, and every crazy idea, I’m so thankful I get to do life alongside you.

I pray this year is filled with blessings, good health, laughter, and opportunities beyond anything you’ve imagined. You work so hard for our family, and I hope today you feel just how loved and appreciated you are.

We love you more than words can say.

We’ve had a rough week. Voted second best sourdough on page and then BRUTALLY torn down by about our quality of humor. And thus, an opportunity was born. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes.
A Dad joke giveaway! One joke to win a free second best loaf of sourdough from us. Then the best joke will be voted upon by you the public. Yes even in the face of destructive words, democracy shall prevail. This isn’t California yall.

We here at were recently voted the number two sourdough person on our own page and made me think that perhaps this is a good opportunity to showcase some other things we do around here. Ya know, just in case we need to look at making them the main thing 😂😂😂😂.
We like to have fun around here folks. Although if I put more time into my baking and not fun perhaps I’ll hit that number 1! 🤔🤔🧐

ManvelMarket is back this Saturday, June 6th, and we’re excited to share this month’s amazing lineup of local vendors, food trucks, makers, bakers, farmers, and community organizations!

Join us from 10AM–2PM and shop from over 50 local small businesses while enjoying great food, unique handmade items, fresh foods, kids’ activities, and more.

🩸 Community Blood Drive
We’re proud to partner with the Manvel Lions Club and Gulf Coast Blood Center for a community blood drive during the market. The blood drive bus will be on-site from 9AM–1:30PM. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome.

👁️ Free Vision Screenings
The Manvel Lions Club will also be offering free vision screenings at their booth during the event.

We keep seeing news stories about tomato prices going up over 40%.
Our tomato price has stayed the same.
We don’t rely on “Artificial Market Pricing”
We charge based on what it cost us to grow it to ensure that we can pay our incredible staff, keep the lights on, and continue to sponsor baseball teams, FFA, and all of the other great youth programs and non profits in our community.
It may feel like we are expensive sometimes ($1 or $2 more than the grocery store)
But today, our homegrown tomatoes are cheaper.
A big win for small family farms
