July is filled with SO much, I had a ✨brain fart✨
It could be also I have ducks on eggs, but my math was all wonky on my incubator eggs. I was thinking 28 days for them…..then I saw we have our first pipped egg! Yay! Come on baby!!

Time for me to start getting the brooder set up for them! 🫠☺️🐓🐣

Chicken math is so so so real, cause what do you mean last year I started with 4 chicks (we aren’t including the broilers I was gifted 😂) and now I have…uh…I don’t even know.

We added 4 new hens earlier this week which gave me 2 new breeds, black s*x link and a white faced black Spanish.

Then I turned around and 4 new silver laced wyandottes…..

And then took a gamble on some baby chicks that may be Icelandics….😂

Not to mention I still have 7 eggs in the incubator and my duck is setting on a few duck and chicken eggs…..😂😂

It’s fine. It’s totally fine.

This is one of the chicks I’m gambling on hahahah
With that being said I will probably be parting with a few hens in my flock to make room for these new guys. And depending on what hatches in my incubator I may have some chicks for sale too!
