After a FULL 8 days of tryouts, these boys are ready to go! ⚽️💙

Starting with a 3-mile run, followed by twice-a-day tryouts, scrimmages, and finally a trip to Duluth for more scrimmages and team bonding… the hard work is officially done!

Teams have been selected! 🎉 Tomorrow they pick up their jerseys, and Thursday they hit the field for their FIRST GAME! ⚽️🔥

So proud of these boys and all the work they put in! Let’s get this season started! ⚽️

We’re grateful to have them as an MGFC sponsor! This local, family-owned butcher shop has served Maple Grove for over 20 years with fresh meat and seafood, frozen bundles, deli platters, and event planning.

They also join us each year at our MGFC kickoff picnic to grill hot dogs for our players and families 🌭—a season favorite!

What an amazing week of tryouts for MGFC! ❤️⚽️

We’ve loved seeing everyone come out, work hard, compete, and give their best all week long. Our coaches have been evaluating players throughout the week as they work to build the strongest teams possible for the upcoming season.

We still have one additional day of tryouts tomorrow, and for a select group of players, the evaluation process will continue as they remain in the JV/Varsity pool. These players will travel to Duluth next week for additional scrimmage opportunities as coaches continue evaluating and building our teams.

A huge THANK YOU to all of our players and families for bringing such great energy, effort, and commitment to tryouts this week. We’re so proud of the way everyone has competed and supported one another!

And tomorrow night, we’re excited to step away from the field for a bit and come together at our MGFC Crimson Kickoff Picnic! 🎉
