Stopped by Sambusa Samosa today for some cream cheese and spicy beef samosas. I'm disappointed that they've been around so long and I had never seen them until today! Quite possibly the best samosas I've ever had. They came with a sweet and sour type sauce and a spicy green sauce. Of course I needed something hotter, but that's not a dig against the truck owners, their food will be plenty spicy for most people.

I definitely recommend checking them out, you won't be disappointed.

Finally tried Cup and Cone in White Bear Lake and now I understand why they always seem to have a huge line! Got a malt with 2 types of candy and they do NOT skimp out, this thing was loaded and I almost couldn't finish it.

My good friend bought a restaurant, so I had to stop in in. He's in the process of updating the menu, but he knows it like it HOT and he nailed it.

Definitely stop in to Dao Thai Pho on Maryland in St Paul and check it out. And if you like it spicy, tell them you want it made like it's for Shane's Super Hots !

I'm all about supporting small businesses, so when I saw a guy with a food cart selling Mexican-style hot dogs, I figures "why not?".

It was wrapped in bacon, came with caramelized onions and pepper, a roasted jalapeno, and chips. Totally worth the 2 minute wait and $7.

Cart is located on White Bear just south of Larpenteur near the food truck spot.

Cinco de Mayo is here, but normal places don't make their sauce spicy enough. This awesome and homemade "pumpkin bourbon" sauce comes from a great customer!
