Nature never ceases to amaze me. After 15yrs on our acreage we have decided to dig out the pond our dreams. During the massive dig project they hit a vein of blue clay. I had no idea what that was, but it looked beautiful and felt amazing. My pottery fingers started to itch. Told hubby I needed a bucket. Upon further research I found that it comes from ancient lakes and volcanic ash. The unoxygenated water and iron deposits give it the bluish tinge. Time to break out my pottery wheel and do some experimenting.

Just caught a swarm in Williamsburg today. Poor girls have been there for a week. For those in the Marengo/Williamsburg area, please message me if you see a swarm around; I'll be thrilled to come get them if I can. Swarms are pretty docile. So, please don't kill them. They will eventually move on when their scouts have found a new home.

Sold out! What a week! I spent 4 days getting ready for my "season opener", at the Whatcheer Flea Market. Jarring the last of last year's honey, making so much lip balm, beez lotion, and beard balm. Batches of ahh balm and beez armor (lotion bars). The only product left is wax stuff and spicy honey.
Will not be at Flea Market today.
