I hope your holiday celebrations are awesome! If this is a difficult day for you, consider visiting a nursing home. Many years ago I worked in one and 90% of the residents never received a visit, including on special holidays. Go bless each other.

Dinner is served. Presentations is lacking fancy dishes and nothing outstanding like a huge bird. But flavor is not lacking! It’s the magic in the plants that you can’t see. Walnut tofu loaf, vegan ravioli, lentil soup, cashew gravy and more. (Ranch is vegan.) working with braces on my arms and my daughter helping so not as extensive as other years!

Gravy’s coming along nicely. I usually use a different flour. Used oat flour which makes it light colored. Cashews, seasonings, toasted oat flour. Tofu loaf is on the oven.

The gist of this video is a new law allows companies to hide that ingredients are gmo by hiding it in a QR code you have to scan. I took a can off my shelf that claims organic and gluten free and found a QR code. I don’t think a claim of organic is possible if gmo is part of the equation. But I don’t know anymore. This QR code is so small it wouldn’t scan. This is not fair. Grocery shopping should not be this complicated.
