Quantities are limited and will not be restocked. Perfect for Christmas morning, gatherings, or gifting.

🍰✨ Walter’s Pudding — Ever heard of it? ✨🍰
Most people haven’t… but once they do, they don’t forget it. It’s an old family favorite we’ve brought back, and Grumps has already asked for one on repeate - seriously this is the second one we’ve made for him this week!!

It starts with a yellow cake, broken up and smothered in warm, homemade pudding (and yes - we double the pudding because there’s never enough). The cake soaks it all in and turns into the most comforting, rich, melt-in-your-mouth dessert.

The pudding recipe came from my great-grandmother, and we made it using the version written down in Big’s handwriting. Two incredible women whose love definitely comes through in every bite. 🥹

Grumps said this one tasted the closest to Big’s that he’s ever had — which pretty much means he gets anything he wants now! 😂 We still have no idea who Walter is… but Grumps sure is thankful for him! Honestly, we might need to start calling it Grumps’ Pudding from now on.

Y’all… the worst part about baking one of our faves, the sour cream pound cake, is having to give it away instead of grabbing a slice for ourselves! 🫣

But our summer bodies said, “You did the right thing.” 😂

Let’s be real… holiday baking can get a little chaotic. Not everything turns out how we hoped, the kitchen gets wrecked, and sometimes things aren’t picture-perfect. But Ella Jayne is 13, and she shows up, gives it her all, and keeps learning—and I’m so proud of her.

This 4th of July she baked like crazy: fruit tarts, chocolate pound cake, cinnamon rolls, cookie cakes, chocolate cakes, red velvet cookies, lemon glazed cookies, chocolate chip cookies, key lime pies, turtle pound cake, and even our old family recipe and Grumps’ favorite - Walter’s Pudding.

But the most special thing she made was her Big Mama’s birthday cake (and Karsyn’s, too). We celebrated her 76th birthday while she celebrates in Heaven with Jesus. I’d like to think she was watching with the biggest smile, proud of the way Ella Jayne is carrying on traditions.

And if you’ve ever supported her little baking adventure—thank you. It really does mean a lot to us, and we hope you’ve enjoyed every bite.

It’s not always perfect—but it’s made with love, and that’s more than enough.
