Who wants some bearded iris?? I have been busy cleaning out our flower bed and have split a ton of our iris out. I have 4 boxes of mixed bulbs…mostly yellow with some blue, white and a few purple mixed in. FREE! The boxes will be at the honey wagon…come get them!

Tickets are $5 each, collected at the door. (Age 3 and under are free).

During each event you’ll also be able to sample our honey varieties, produced on our farm! You can also cut flowers in our flower patch (additional cost).

Come meet our herd of highland cows and learn about what makes this breed our favorite!

Our next ‘Meet and Greets’ with the highlands will be posted tomorrow! We will have a few dates listed and plan to try to offer them about once a week through the summer if we can. Our next few will be offered Sunday evenings (June 28th and July 5th will be released tomorrow), but we will try to vary them to other days/times as our schedule allows. Please remember you must claim a spot for each event, we do not offer open hours to visit our animals outside scheduled events. ❤️

Came home yesterday to flowers popping all over the farm! 💐 Makes my heart so happy! 💜 We are starting to put arrangements out daily…we don’t quite have enough for the You-Pick patch just yet but should be opening that by the weekend. Arrangements are price as marked. Have a great Monday! 🤩

What a wonderful weekend at Sheppard Farms for the American Highland Cattle Association 76th annual National Gathering. We met some amazing fellow highland breeders, who welcomed us with open arms to our first AHCA annual event.

It was a great 2 days full of learning, networking and spending time with some awesome fellow highland breeders who all love the breed as much as we do.

Now we head home to catch up on farm chores. So blessed to have family (and kids 😜) who help keep the farm running while we get away!

Flowers are just trickling in..,and will be BURSTING very soon!

We will probably start having a few arrangements out at the wagon for sale by this weekend for sure.

The “U-Pick” patch is NOT open quite yet…watch for updates on when we will be open for daily cutting…it won’t be long! Hang tight a few more weeks!

We’ve been really busy with construction projects lately and just finished up the latest project… the new chute. We got it set in place and tonight we gave it the first test run…. Pretty cool new tool to keep us (and them) safe when we have to work on these hairy coos! Yearly vaccines ✅

What a weekend! We were blessed with family who came up for a visit and helped pour our concrete pad for our Grainzebo. Of course we snuck in a few cow snuggles too! Once it cures we will begin assembly…it’s well on the way!
