Home from our first comp of the season at the Leesburg Daybreak Rotary Club bbq comp!

First outing in the new trailer was a success!

Here's how we did

6th place chicken Springer Mountain Farms
3rd place ribs
1st place pork Prairie Fresh

Overall 4th place!

Huge congrats to PinkyOut BBQ on the GC and Clean Smoke BBQ Team on the RGC and thanks for putting together the team dinner friday night it was delicious!

Also thanks to Tame the Flame BBQ for allowing arlie to hang with your kiddos, as you can see she was worn OUT!

OK bbq family, we all know GNB and their good luck bloody marys...... I think better half may adopt the good luck espresso martini..

Who at comps would be in for one?!

Espresso martini
2oz vodka
2oz chilled espresso (or coffee concentrate)
1oz coffee liquor
0.5oz simple syrup

Shake vigorously over ice for 1min
Garnish with espresso beans

1/2 Oz fresh lemon juice
2oz vodka
0.5oz simple syrup
1oz triple sec
4oz Cranberry juice

Garnish with fresh blackberry and a lemon slice.
