And just like that… our very first season at Scoops is coming to an end. 🤍🍦
It’s hard to believe how quickly our first summer has flown by. When we opened our little window for the first time in May, we truly didn’t know what to expect. We just hoped to create a place where people could come for some good ice cream, spend time together, and leave a little happier than when they arrived.
What we got was so much more.
We watched families make Scoops part of their summer nights, kids running around the yard with ice cream in their hands, friends meeting up after school, teams stopping by together, and so many familiar faces returning week after week.
And somewhere along the way, the little things became some of our favorite memories.
To Brody, who walked down from the neighborhood across the street every single day for his brownie sundae. To Carol and her signature vanilla milkshake and chocolate shake. And to Mr. Gainey, whose idea to combine a banana split and brownie sundae inspired our Father's Day special, the "Hi Hungry, I'm Dad!"
These are just a few of the countless faces and memories that made our first season so special. From the beginning, we made it our mission to get to know the people on the other side of our window. We wanted Scoops to be more than just a place to grab ice cream, and because of all of you, that's exactly what it became. Whether you visited us once or every single day, we hope you know how much each interaction meant to us.
You celebrated with us, supported every new idea we threw your way, shared our posts, told your friends about us, and welcomed our ice cream spot with more love than we ever could have expected.
For our very first season, we truly couldn't have asked for anything more.
With that being said, Saturday, October 31st will officially be the final day of our 2026 ice cream season! 🎃🍦
And because it's Halloween AND the end of our first season, we want to go out with a little celebration!

Join us on Saturday, October 31st, from 4 PM to 10 PM for one last sweet celebration!
We'll be giving away ONE FREE SCOOP of ice cream per person, in your choice of a cup or cone, along with Halloween candy! Bring the family, stop by in your costumes, and help us finish off our remaining ice cream while supplies last!
It's our little way of saying thank you for all the love and support you've shown us throughout our first season. 🤍
And don't worry — this is only a "see you later!"
Scoops will be back in spring 2027, and we already have so many exciting ideas in the works to make our second season even better! We've learned so much during our first year, and we cannot wait to bring you more of Scoops next season! 🍦✨
From Federico and Leslie, and our entire Scoops crew, thank you for making our first season more special than we ever could have imagined. Every single one of you played a part in making our little ice cream shop something truly special, and we are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
We're not getting too sentimental just yet, though. We still have a few weeks left together, and we hope to see as many of you as possible before we close our window for the season!
