My son carved a face into his pumpkin, as kids tend to do.
I'm considering what happened next, a threatening message and a potential hate crime against my son as the geese really have it out for him.
We saw them checking the pumpkins out but then we moved onto something else. Later we go outside and see this heart lovingly gnawed into the pumpkin. My daughters remained untouched btw and it was right next to this one.
Now, something about geese is that breeding season is coming up so we are going to see some major attitude shifts here soon. All that extra hate and rage they possess this time of year is going to be passed out to everyone like candy on Halloween.
I initially told my son that they must really love him to leave him a heart. Then we both looked at each other and laughed hysterically at the blatant sarcasm.
"Seriously though son, I'd watch your back if I were you, the geese love no one but each other right now." It was this time last year when I found a plastic 🔪 in their water bowl, so they make their threats known immediately.
.. And while we are on the topic of bad behavior, I got a text last week from the Amazon driver asking me to put my animals up. We looked out the window to see the geese surrounding the Amazon truck... 🫣🙄The geese were coaxed away from the poor driver so he could toss it onto the sidewalk and bounce. He left with his life but probably not his dignity.
With all of this we would greatly appreciate it if everyone could send positive vibes this way for our geese. Though geese can't actually absorb positive vibes and use them, they do act as a defense to all the negative ones they are exuding. So really the vibes are more for those of us that have to live with them.
TIA!
