Foxy gave birth to her first calf this morning, the last of the year. She is a beautiful heifer by Sunset Canyon Got Maid. It has been the year of the heifer, 100% female calves. Welcome to the herd Vixen 🦊

Foxy 🦊 and I are eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first calf, due on September 10th. It will be the last calf of the year, and 🤞🏻should be a heifer. She is by Quickstep and bred to Got Maid. She is the image of her mother but thankfully didn’t inherit her personality.

Well, this is embarrassing. I had no idea that Sweet Pea was pregnant, and was starting to panic that it was late in the year to find a bull. It seems that my old bull left us a parting gift, a beautiful heifer calf.
