For the First time since I started my lil business in 2013 I have had to change my prices a small amount, I do not like to but the cost of all of my supplies has either doubled or tripled on some things so it has forced me to. I hope everyone understands

Homemade Mints, also NEW Buttermints!

1/2 Batch is $30 and usually makes 140-160 depending on molds & Full batch is $50 around 250 mints depending on molds

Buttermints- 2 flavor choices $15 a batch

Who's ready to follow along on my CAKE CHALLENGE?!

(This is long...bear with me.) :)

Backstory...last month my bonus daughter found this "Cake Bible" for me at an antique store in Hermann, MO, and knew I had to have it. Immediately my head was spinning as to ways I could incorporate it into my business, and learn a few new tricks along the way. Hence the idea of the The Cake Challenge was born!

Has anyone seen the movie "Julie & Julia"? It's a great story and inspired me to do my own version....cake style! I get to combine three of my favorite things ever....a challenge, baking, and giving back to others. ❤

Here's the rundown....my goal is 2-3/month, but at least once a month I will go through page by page, creating each cake recipe in this book. I will share a video documenting each of my attempts, hopefully successful, but even if I fail, those will also be shared (and probably be more entertaining, let's be honest!) The editing will be done by my daughter because this is not one of my strong suits and takes SO much time!

Here's where YOU come in ..... where should all this cake GO?! I'm not doing this to make money or sell at the end, but if all goes well, I'll have a delicious cake at the end and no one to eat it, so I'll be taking suggestions from all of you of who is deserving of my cake creation! This can be an organization with several mouths to feed (average serving is 20) or even an individual who needs a pick me up or just loves cake. 😍 I will announce each time I'm starting a new recipe so you can make your nominations in the comments.

I'll make my first one within the next two weeks so let's kick it off now with your nominations here or just share your thoughts/comments or words of encouragement for me (some of these are HARD and use ingredients/tools I've not encountered before).

Also, you know sharing is always AWESOME, so go for it! I'd love to treat as many people as I can with one of the almost 200 recipes in this 1988 classic!!

It’s Cookie Time!!! Last Order goes in Friday!!! We do have some on hand right now. We sell cookies until March 4th! Heidi is a 2nd Year Daisy this year- she is absolutely loving Girl Scounts and couldn’t wait for Cookie Day to start. She has set a goal of 500 boxes.
