The turkeys are coming along nice. These will be 30 to 35 lbs by kill day. If your interested in a Thanksgiving turkey that has been raised all natural, with feed and grass, and fresh water, let us know. They will be killed the weekend before Thanksgiving. We also have 32 more turkey that will be arriving Wednesday that should be around 15 to 20 lbs by Thanksgiving so we will have many different size for your Thanksgiving.

Hey guys!! We are so excited for tomorrow, as our first round of fresh pasture raised poultry will be packaged and ready to sell. Our birds have been on fresh ground and fed a non-gmo feed. We have around 30 left to sell. Please let me know if you are interested in buying some.

We still have hay! We have around 100 bales that had gotten wet for $1 a bale. We also have around 300 still for sale $4 a bale. It is goat, cow, sheep, etc. hay. It has not been sprayed or fertilized in the last year. Please let us know if you are interested. Pickup in Maynardville, TN.

As I was watching the chickens and turkeys on the grass today, I thought about the benefits of our operation. Pasture-raised chicken meat tends to be higher in iron, higher in Omega 3, have a lower Omega 6:3 ratio, and be higher in antioxidants (Vitamin E, for example). One-third of the adults in the United States are obese, and even if a person is of a healthy body weight, poor diet increases the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and osteoporosis. The primary line of defense to these diseases is diet, and when it comes to the poultry we raise, our customers can positively affect their diet and their health by choosing fresh clean poultry raised on pasture. We cannot wait to offer our customers a healthier option!
